Founded in May 2020, JMTN seeks to solve a problem plaguing news outlets of the modern era: a shift away from meaningful, detailed, and informative stories in favor of short-form articles that barely skim the surface of the story. JMTN believes in "depth over breadth." Rather than publishing a large quantity of quick-reads, JMTN will write a curated number of detailed, nuanced articles that point out the details of a situation. This means we won't be publishing articles every day, as we will take our time researching and developing our stories in order to accomplish our goal of providing deep-dives into matters of the public interest.
